Respiratory Therapy Careers at BC Children’s Hospital

Working across the joint campus of BC Children’s Hospital and BC Women’s Hospital + Health Centre, Respiratory Therapists play a critical role in caring for some of the most vulnerable pediatric and neonatal patients in British Columbia. As the only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) in the province, our PICU treats over 1,200 children annually, while the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is the provincial leader in high-risk neonatal care, including neonatal transport services. Our family-centred approach ensures that care is given to infants, children, and their families with compassion, innovation, and a commitment to excellence.
