About
In the division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition, we serve patients with these major diseases and conditions:
- Celiac disease
- Complex feeding and nutrition-related conditions such as poor growth (seen by Complex Feeding and Nutrition Service)
- Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EoE)
- Foreign body ingestion
- Gastrointestinal bleeding
- General gastroenterology (severe reflux disease, dysphagia, chronic diarrhea)
- Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD)
- Liver diseases (including in patients who have had transplantation)
Each year, around 5,000 patient visits occur. Patients are seen in clinics (outpatient), in the Medical Day Care Unit (MDU), and as inpatients (either as consults or admitted directly under our service).
