General Pediatrics

We offer general physical examinations and care to children from birth through to 18 years of age.

We provide services in these areas:

  • Care for children with complex medical and psychosocial problems
  • Assessment and management of children with chronic illnesses
  • Developmental and behavioural assessment and guidance
  • Parent education, support and guidance
  • Coordination with other health care professionals as indicated

Our team
We are a teaching clinic and have trainees both medical students and pediatric residents in the clinic most of the time.  We also run the Resident Continuity Clinic (RCC) in which the pediatric resident is identified as the primary physician under the supervision of a general pediatrician.
