The Learning and Development Practice-based Research and Knowledge Translation Team are pleased to announce that the second annual CW Practice-Based Research Conference will be held Thursday, October 24th, 2024 in the Chan Auditorium from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, to celebrate interdisciplinary practice-based research across campus. Hosted in collaboration with the Women’s Health Research Institute, BC Children’s Research Institute and the Institute for Global Health, the conference will include a keynote speaker, oral and poster presentations of ongoing and completed interdisciplinary practice-based research projects, engaging discussions, and valuable networking opportunities.

Practice-based research answers questions and identifies opportunities for improvement emerging from point-of-care clinician practice to inform and improve clinical practice and health services.  It includes a broad spectrum of research and knowledge translation related activities including evaluation and implementation.
