CW’s Learning and Development, the Institute for Global Health at BC Children’s and Women’s Hospital, BC Children’s Hospital Research Institute and the Women’s Health Research Institute invites you to join us for a lecture and workshop led by Dr. Stephanie Nixon, titled, “Unpacking power and privilege: Fostering accountability in healthcare and health research” on June 6th, 2024 in the Chan Auditorium at BCCHR from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Stephanie is a physiotherapist, a health researcher and activist scholar whose work explores how systems of oppression shape health and community care, research and education, and the role of people in positions of unearned advantage in disrupting these harmful patterns.

We encourage you to register early for this event, as we anticipate there will be lots of interest. There will be a free meal provided for in-person attendees.
