Media Enquiries
Contact the communications team
Request an interview with someone from a BC Children's Hospital program or connect with a communications representative who can discuss story ideas and important health information with members of the media.
- During regular business hours:
Email: comm@cw.bc.ca (Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., excluding statutory holidays) - After hours: For urgent media requests that cannot wait until the next business day.
Phone: 778-867-7472 (PHSA’s central media line). Requests outside of regular business hours are managed by the Provincial Health Services Authority on-call representative, as BC Children's Hospital is a program of PHSA.
We review all media enquiries during regular business hours and will respond in a timely manner.
In the evenings, over weekends and during public holidays, our after-hours team monitors the media line until 10 p.m. Calls received after 10 p.m. are returned the next morning after 7 a.m.
Please leave a detailed voicemail including your email, 10-digit telephone number with the extension if applicable and your deadline for response.
