Our team sees children and youth with disabilities who require special equipment to sit, stand or move.

The respiratory medicine team at BC Children’s Hospital serves children and youth from BC and Yukon with complex respiratory conditions.

We diagnose and treat children and youth with conditions that affect the joints and connective tissue, called rheumatic diseases.

We offer primary health care clinics and specialized health services for children, youth and their families.

We provide family-centred, intensive outpatient rehabilitation services for children and youth with complex needs in BC and Yukon.

The Spinal Cord Clinic provides interdisciplinary care for children and youth and their families who suffer from disorders related to the spinal cord due to a variety of congenital and acquired conditions.

BC Children’s Hospital has dedicated services specific to substance use care. We also provide support for concurrent disorders, where a child or youth has both a mental health and substance use concern.

BC Children’s Hospital is the provincial leader in specialty surgical care for children and youth. From minimally invasive procedures to complex surgeries, our skilled surgical teams complete over 6,000 surgeries each year.
