- Indigenous patients may have dental coverage through the First Nations Health Authority. They may also be able to access financial support through Jordan’s Principle
- Contact our Dental Clinic social work team at dentalsocialwork@cw.bc.ca to help you apply, if helpful
- Interim Federal Health Program: provides limited, temporary coverage of health-care benefits for specific groups of people in Canada. These include resettled refugees, refugee claimants or protected people who don’t have provincial, territorial, or private health-care coverage
- At Home Program: supports children and youth with severe disabilities and complex health care needs. The program provides a range of medical benefits, equipment and services for eligible children
- BC Healthy Kids Program: helps low-income families with the costs of basic dental care, prescription eyewear and hearing assistance for their children

- Dental Public Health Children's Program: provides dental checks and services to children in community health centres and as part of kindergarten screenings in schools. Services at most locations are free. There are also a number of reduced cost clinics available across BC
- Severe Oligodontia Funding Initiative Program: a government-funded grant program. It funds coordinated care for people with genetic conditions associated with multiple congenitally missing permanent teeth, who are ready for prosthodontic care or need significant dental intervention as part of an overall treatment plan.
