General Pediatrics
We offer general physical examinations and care to children from birth through to 18 years of age. We provide:
- Care for children and youth with complex medical and psychosocial problems
- Assessment and management of children and youth with chronic illnesses, such as asthma and hypotonia
- Developmental and behavioural assessment and guidance
- Parent education, support and guidance
- Coordination with other health-care professionals, as needed
We are a teaching clinic. We have medical students and pediatric residents in the clinic most of the time. A resident may see your child or youth as part of our Resident Continuity Clinic (RCC). Residents are doctors training to be pediatricians. They are are always supervised by a pediatrician.
