Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery Referral
We provide surgical care for infants, children and youth with congenital and acquired heart diseases.
We provide surgical care for infants, children and youth with congenital and acquired heart diseases, such as:
- Congenital (structural) heart diseases, including atrial and ventricular septal defects or hypoplastic left heart
- Acquired heart diseases, including rheumatic heart disease, cardiomyopathies or Kawasaki disease
- Conditions requiring heart transplantation and ventricular assist devices
We also provide surgical care for some children with lung tumours, chest wall differences, airway disorders and traumatic injuries.

If there is a change in the condition of your patient, please fax your notes to the clinic so our doctors have the most up-to-date information. Cardiologists review and prioritize every referral we receive.
Our clinic will contact the patient’s family or caregiver to schedule an appointment.
