What we do
BC Children's Hospital provides expert health care, including mental health care, for the most seriously ill or injured children from across British Columbia. Sunny Hill Health Centre, a program of BC Children's Hospital, provides child development and rehabilitation services.
In addition to providing specialized pediatric services - many of which are not available elsewhere in the province - BC Children's Hospital is the province's leading teaching and research facility for child health. The hospital is affiliated with the University of British Columbia.

As a hospital of the Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA), BC Children’s Hospital’s strategic action plan supports PHSA’s strategic direction, outlined in the PHSA Service Plan. BC Children's Hospital also shares the vision, mission and values of the PHSA.
Positions require, at minimum, an MD or equivalent degree. You must hold or be eligible to hold licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia.
Positions may also require relevant specialist experience, qualifications and/or certifications, as well as eligibility for clinical faculty appointment at the University of British Columbia.
BC Children’s Hospital has an agreement in place with the University of British Columbia for internships, research and faculty appointments.
