Therapy resources
- BC Government - Assessing and supporting your child's development gives an overview of occupational, physical, speech and language therapy programs that our team may recommend to support your child's development
- The School-Aged Therapy (SAT) program provides occupational therapy and physiotherapy services to school-aged children and youth with special needs. Access is different between school districts, and parents should contact their child's school for more information
- Children with Indigenous heritage may be eligible for funding via Jordan's Principle, a federal program to ensure First Nations children get the services they need

Financial support resources
- The disability tax credit (DTC) is a non-refundable federal tax credit that helps persons with disabilities or their supporting persons reduce the income tax they may have to pay. Part of the application must be completed by a doctor, nurse practitioner, or other qualified health professional
- A registered disability savings plan (RDSP) helps parents and others save for a person's long-term financial security. To open an RDSP account, you must apply for a disability tax credit
